Raising the bar on Cinco de Mayo!!

🌮🌮🌮

Fun fact: Contrary to some popular belief, Cinco de Mayo isn’t Mexican Independence Day (that’s in September!) — it actually commemorates the Battle of Puebla in 1862, when a small Mexican army pulled off an unlikely victory over the French.

While it’s a relatively minor holiday in Mexico, here in the U.S. it’s grown into a full-on celebration of Mexican food, culture, community… and tacos & tequila!

For us At The Food Shack, Cinco de Mayo marks our unofficial start of summer, the season where we shine the brightest— and the perfect excuse to do what we do best:

Sling tacos & share our hospitality!

Cinco De Mayo also falls on a Monday this year… a great excuse to make the celebration last all weekend! Whether with a burrito in hand, tacos on our patio, or catered platters and cocktails for your early summer backyard bash — we’re here for all of it!

Raise the bar on your Cinco de Mayo with us while we continue to raise the bar on your next fast casual meal:

 No seed oils

 No enriched grains

 No corn syrup

 No artificial preservatives

 Just clean ingredients, No junk.

Happy Cinco de Mayo, from all of us at The Shack!
